New Bond Film Spectre Coming in October 2015

December 6, 2014. The film hero James Bond, Agent 007 of the British Secret Service MI6, who is also an expert in gambling and casino environments, will return to the big screen in October 2015. The film, titled Spectre, will be the 24th Bond film and the fourth to star British actor Daniel Craig in the lead role.

For Bond Enthusiasts

Fans of Bond films will certainly recognize the name of the new film, SPECTRE. It is a criminal organization that first appeared in the second Bond film, From Russia with Love (1963), led by the legendary villain – Number 1, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

For Daniel Craig, the sixth actor to portray Agent 007, Spectre will be his fourth Bond film. This ties him with his predecessor, Pierce Brosnan. The next milestones are Sean Connery and Roger Moore, who starred in 6 and 7 Bond films, respectively.

We’ll see how the actor and the entire film crew handle the role. Daniel Craig made a fantastic debut in Casino Royale (2006), where he also played Texas Hold'em Poker (you can watch the thrilling final game here). This was followed by a slight stumble in Quantum of Solace (2008), before Skyfall (2012) became the most commercially successful Bond film of all time – grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide.

What to Expect from the New Bond Film Spectre

• James Bond will be played by Daniel Craig;
• Alongside Craig, the film will feature Christoph Waltz, the Austrian actor best known for his brilliant portrayal of SS Colonel Landa in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, and Andrew Scott;
• No Bond film is complete without Bond girls. This time, they will be Italian actress Monica Bellucci and French actress Léa Seydoux;
• Singer Rihanna will also have a small role, as Daniel Craig is a fan of her music;
• Director Sam Mendes will return, despite stating after the premiere of Skyfall that he would never direct another Bond film. After all, one of the (unofficial) Bond films is titled Never Say Never Again;
• Filming locations include the Austrian Alps, Morocco, Mexico, and Rome;
• The premiere in the UK is scheduled for October 25, 2015, with a global release date of November 6, 2015.
